A: We can provide entertainment for your drinks reception (chill, lounge, jazz, or party vibes), after-dinner entertainment, or late night entertainment (after band). We perform at weddings, private parties, house parties, night clubs, and lots in between!

A: We are highly versatile and can tailor our service to meet your unique needs. We do not work exclusively with any specific DJ or band, which means we can seamlessly integrate with your chosen entertainment setup, or we can provide the DJ, or we can provide backing tracks, and play without a DJ

Q: What is the difference between playing along with a DJ or using backing tracks?

Accepted Answer

A: We offer two distinct options: playing along with a DJ, and using backing tracks.  
Playing along with a DJ involves our saxophonist collaborating live with a DJ who is present at your event. This setup allows for an interactive and dynamic performance, as the saxophonist can improvise and adapt to the DJ's music in real-time. This option is ideal for late events, weddings, and corporate events where a high-energy atmosphere and audience engagement are key. The synergy between the saxophonist and DJ can create a vibrant and unique live experience tailored to the crowd's mood.  
On the other hand, using backing tracks involves the saxophonist performing with pre-recorded music. This method allows for a more controlled and polished performance as the saxophonist plays along with high-quality tracks that can be customized in advance to suit the event's theme. Backing tracks are perfect for intimate settings or private events where a consistent musical flow is desired without the requirement of a live DJ.

Q: How much space do you need for a sax & DJ setup?

Both our solo sax and sax & DJ setups are compact and flexible, making them suitable for everything from private homes to large venues. In most cases, we require only a small area for equipment and clear access to a power supply. We always adapt the setup to suit the venue and layout.

Q: Can you perform outdoors or in marquees?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we regularly perform at outdoor events and in marquees across Ireland. As long as the performance area is covered and power is available, we can provide a full sax and DJ setup suitable for outdoor weddings, Day 2 celebrations and private parties.

Q: Do you take song requests or customise the music?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Music is tailored to your event and your guests. We welcome song requests in advance and on the night, and playlists can be customised to suit weddings, corporate events, hen parties and milestone celebrations.

Q: How long do you typically perform for?

Accepted Answer

Performance times are flexible and depend on your event. We can provide shorter sets of 90 minutes for drinks receptions or dinner entertainment, or extended performances for evening parties and late-night celebrations. Timings are agreed in advance to suit your schedule.

Question 8

Q: Do you need anything from the venue on the day?

Accepted Answer

Very little. We provide all professional sound, lighting and equipment. All we typically require is access to a suitable power supply and a clear setup area.
